Lynn Wallace Naylor
As President of the Sholl-Freede Foundation, Lynn draws on her experience working across corporate, start-up, public-private, and philanthropic sectors. During her most recent role as CEO of Innovation Tri-Valley Leadership Group, the region was heralded for its dramatic growth and increasing visibility as a Bay Area economic juggernaut. During her tenure at World of Children, Naylor played a vital role in securing its position as one of the Top 100 Influencers in Philanthropy delivering $10+ million in funding to support more than 100 programs caring for vulnerable children in 70 countries worldwide. Naylor’s career includes leadership positions at The Presidio Trust, SONY’s Metreon, and COSI, an acclaimed hands-on science center. She has been recognized as one of the Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business by the San Francisco Business Times, an Agent of Change by Diablo Magazine, and a Woman of Distinction by the East Bay Business Times.

Arwen Thiel
As Director of Program and Operations for the Sholl-Freede Foundation, Arwen shares her rare combination of insight and expertise to deliver impact with non-profit leaders all around the world. Previously as Vice President of Programs and Director of Social Impact, she supported over 200 grassroots leaders from 70 countries studying in the Gratitude Network Fellowship Program to build operational capacity, organizational leadership and social impact. As Senior Program Director at the international non-profit World of Children, Arwen oversaw the grantmaking program including outreach, research, evaluation and program measurement. She has managed and administered over $4 million in philanthropic grants – accelerating nonprofit global impact.
